My channel "Dansenough" is a mostly gaming focused channel. I uploaded analysis, meme, and music videos in my relatively short stint as a content creator. The channel started as a way to develop more video editing skill over the summer after many unsuccessful job and internship applications. It also became an avenue for increasing communication with others and transforming my entertainment-related thoughts and experiences into creations. It was a great time.
Above is one of the first YouTube videos on my channel: "Nintendo's Yonko, The Four Emperors," a fan analysis video that draws connections between series from video game company Nintendo and the manga series One Piece. I worked in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Audition to build the bulk of this video. I used Illustrator and Photoshop to design the video thumbnails and some in-video components. I used audio software FL Studio and MuseScore for a custom music track.
The making of each video was a multidisciplinary exercise. The skills I practiced through the process were: graphic design, animation, video editing, research, planning, sourcing and sampling, scripting, audio design, and creating long and short-form content.

Skills practiced through the thumbnail creation process: layout, logo design for original and sequel logos, photo manipulation, design for humor.

Below are some brand materials I created for my channel and related social media. I only used Twitter for social media posts, as this is the most popular platform for gaming content creators to speak to their audience and deliver news/updates. Skills developed: social media management, copywriting, SEO, trend awareness, and designing for precise dimensions.
